Structural Special Inspections

As part of the process of building a project, inspecting during construction provides the assurance of a correctly built and code compliant project.  These inspections provide needed assurance both for the owner, who expects their project to be safe, as well as the builder, who can rely on independent verification that they have fulfilled their obligation to their client.  As structural engineers, we are uniquely positioned to provide these services in that we have detailed and extensive knowledge of all potential building systems, as well as can back up our work with a professional seal.

While we can provide this service on any project, it can be even more beneficial when we are also acting as the Engineer of Record on a project.  In those cases, owners can rest comfortable that they have all their bases covered and that there will not be finger pointing in the event of a problem.  Finally, when packaged with our Structural Detailing services, it can provide single source responsibility for everything except the actual construction itself, minimizing communication and coordination problems.
