Capital View Commerce Center, Harrisburg, PA
General Project Description: CEG assessed the design and construction of a partially completed commerce center
that had been vacant for almost one year prior to the investigation. The construction types for the facility ranged
from pre-engineered single-story structures to multi-story concrete structures.
Description of structural features: The investigation included reviews of design calculations, construction
documents, and shop drawings for code compliance. Field investigations were performed to determine if the
structures were built according to construction documents and building specifications.
York Suburban Pool Investigation, York, PA
General Project Description: Patching and repairs to the exterior surface of the existing swimming pool concrete
Description of structural features: The repairs to the existing 2,400-square foot, four-lane swimming pool,
originally constructed in 1958, consisted of removing spalled and delaminated areas on the existing exterior surface
of the concrete walls and patching them with appropriate repair materials. The entire exterior surface of the
concrete walls was then coated with a corrosion inhibitor and protective coating to help extend the life of the

General Project Description: Exterior renovations for three -story buildings.
Description of structural features: The renovations involved replacing cast stone parapets in order to maintain the
structural integrity of the buildings. The team also repaired existing concrete aprons, repaired and repointed failing
relief angle control joints and resealed all exposed concrete.
